If you haven’t watched Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth you have missed out majorly and you must see it. Don’t know who streams it though. I also love Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and the Emma version with Jeremy Northam (swoon).

Omg it’s a hard relate from me- overwhelmed irritated nervous system. I’ve even had to stop listening to podcasts and just do music (preferably spa sounds or 90’s bangers) Downton Abbey was a joy I discovered 3 years ago- a literal salve. Absolutely loved it. Don’t forget there’s a movie too. So excited to hear about Gilded Age- am going to dive in!! Looking forward to your deep dive on 2023 xx

Try Call the Midwives from start to finish - gorgeous escapism yet poignant, gritty

Downton is my grownup pacifier! Watched the entire series at least 20 times (plus now the movies).

It gives my brain a rest. It demands nothing of me because it’s as familiar as an old pair of slippers and dressing gown!

You’re definitely not alone 💜🩷❤️

Welcome to the Bonnet Club. It’s the best escapism from today. The slower pace, the manners, the sets, costumes, drapery, furniture, crystal glassware and gardens are something I get swept away with too. Things just aren’t made like they used.

Love Bonnet Dramas and can't get enough of them! Is Guilded Age series 2 streaming all episodes or weekly release? Can't watch weekly as lose the plot and emotional connection so will wait until all available to subscribe if weekly.

I Love Bonnet Dramas, Guilded Age was fantastic, hoping for a season 3. Downton Abby is wonderful to re-watch and the 6 part mini series Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth is so wonderful and much more satisfying than the movie just in my opinion.

Downton Abbey was the show that my husband and I watched together on his suggestion! Our tastes never overlap but here they did. That’s the magic of these Crawleys and the crew downstairs. Enjoy Mia!

I love both of these! Can you bring yourself to try Bridgerton? Is one of the many Jane Austen adaptations a step too far?

(And I totally hear you about not wanting to read or watch anything upsetting or suspenseful. Real life has quite enough of that!)

I have enjoyed both, especially Downton Abbey!
